How does the acceptance approach work?
Rather than fighting anxiety, acceptance-based methods (rooted in ACT — Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) teach you to stop struggling against anxious thoughts and feelings. This breaks the fear-anxiety cycle and builds lasting peace instead of temporary relief.
How is Shine different from Calm or Headspace?
Calm and Headspace focus primarily on meditation. Shine combines six distinct daily activities targeting your body, mind, and habits together. It's also built specifically on anxiety recovery principles (ACT, CBT), not general wellness — so every activity has a purpose.
How does the companion evolution system work?
Your wolf companion starts as a Sleepy Pup and evolves through 9 stages as you earn XP by completing daily activities. Each evolution stage celebrates your consistency, making progress visible and motivating you to keep the streak going.
